Default 70 mach1 resurrection project

Hi all, the names Mike and I'm from NE Indiana. I am trying to resurrect a 70 mach1 that had been rolled in the early 80's. I got the car and a boat load of parts given to me with the understanding that I fix the car. I have a complete car and then some. I have replaced the entire top half of the car, core support, floor pans and fenders. I am getting to the point of needing a motor and tranny. The car orginally had a 351 C and 4 speed. I am not picky as to which motor and trranny I put in(lets face it, this aint no show car!) I have access to a 351W in a mid 80's truck. My main question is (if all of you will grace me with your knowledge) can I drop that motor in my stang without any problems and if I find a 4 speed, will it bolt to the newer 351W? Any advice in this HUGE undertaking is greatly appreciated. BTW. I am not looking to spend a small fortune on this car. I just dont have alot of money but I really want to get this car drivable again. It would mean alot the person who gave the car to me (dear friend) Thanks for any and all help.

Well, since the 351W 2V was also factory installed in the 1970 Mustang, you could bolt that engine in with entirely stock parts. With a little, very little, effort, you could make it look entirely stock. Any 65-73 289/302/351 4-speed will bolt right on, and the 68-73 bellhousing and clutch, and stock 69-70 clutch linkage will bolt right in. Everything you need except the bell is available new, and they are easy.

Thanks, I just want to make sure there isn't anything I'm missing.
