bigger, not smaller ;-) but yes, 14:1 is what I'll be aiming for. but before I do that I'll have to doublecheck the accellerator pump once more. i might just get rid of that hesitation with bigger pump cam. as well I want to try to see if I have the secondary butterfly. i believe if I open that one a bit more I can close the primaries a bit more which should help as well. neverending fun. but i'm still learning

That's what I have the A/F meter for. i'd never get it right otherwise :-)

Right...jets....I was thinking needle size.

Why are you replacing jets and not needles?

Is it lean under power too? I thought you had the power end running well.

Just get a needle with a .002 smaller cruise diameter and you wont mess up the power side of the equation but still get a bit richer part throttle reading.
