Default 67 coupe upper console

Does the forward support bracket get attached above or below the headliner? Should it be mounted before the headliner is installed or afterward? I know the rear of the console simply screws into the cars support rail by the rear window.

The brackets should be installed before the headliner.

There are front and rear brackets, but I don't know whether both fastback and coupe require both, or not.

Ahh ok. I'll have to pull a few clips in the morning and slide it up in the front. The fb has a rear bracket but the coupe doesn't. The rear holes in the coupe overhead console screw directly into the roof support by the rear glass.

thanks.
