I'm interested in possibly buying a 1965 Mustang, 289, 3 speed AT, 73k miles (all original), power steering, minimal rust (such as around the rear window and front outer pillars); the car is solid, body is straight, CA car all it's life, original Wimbleton White paint (dulled from age), all the glass is intact and the black interior is still in usable condition. I know the suspension and brakes need some work. It has been sitting for a couple of years (long enough for the tires to crack). I was thinking around $4k, but I do know that the market has changed over the last few years.

What do you guys think it's worth?

it might be closer to 5000....If you replaced the tires, changed fluids, fix brakes could you drive it? If yes it might be worth 5k maybe a bit more....What are they asking for it?
