I have the Baer Trackers on my car, also. They are adjustable, so you can dial out any bumpsteer pretty effectively. Also, an added bonus is the reduced effort to your manual steering system by replacing the rubber bushings with the hemi-joint.

Hey everyone, I did end up getting the Baer Tracker kit and I am pretty happy with it. It looks a lot more stout when compared to the stock setup and I love getting rid of those rubber boots. Now if someone would make something that eliminated the rubber boot on the inner tie rod I would be set. I did replace the inner tie rod with a new one from NPD while I was at it.

When I install them on the car should I just eyeball the length of the old vs. the new to get it close enough to take it to the alignment shop? I'm not driving the car to the shop, I am putting it on my carhauler.

Here are some pics of the new Baer kit vs. the stock setup:

***UPDATE***

Finally got the car down to the alignment shop only to find out there is a big problem. The Baer Tracker kit doesn't allow enough adjustment for my toe to be set properly. Have any of you using the kit had this problem? I ended up spending a couple of hours running around to different machine shops trying to find someone that will cut 1/2" off of each side of the new adjusting sleeves. This is what the alignment shop recommended as well as Baer. Pisses me off that a $160 part still needed to be "modified" to be correct. I HATE companies that do this. Please let me know if any of you have had this problem. Thanks!

you could probably put a thin nut on either end and gain 1/4" right there

I'm not sure what you mean. There are jam nuts on both ends of the adjustment sleeve and both the inner and outer tie rods were adjusted fully in.

replace the current nuts with different ones. they make nuts in different thickness. those look like they are 1/4 - 5/16 thick

you would still have to turn down the length of the sleeve though, just not as much.

Oh, sorry for not understanding. I will consider getting some thinner nuts (no jokes please) if I still need more adjustment after they are cut down some. I dropped them off at a local machine shop to get them cut down by 1/2" on each side. They should be ready in the morning and then back down to the alignment shop.
