Great car man, I've considered building one like that, I'm assuming this is your inspiration?

Thanks for posting those pics Adrenolin, it gives me a sort of preview of what mine will look like, although I have some differences in mind.

I like the color you chose, the rims really set it off.

As for shakin' her down, that's half the fun. When I finished the first car it was a few trips around town, then to work, then the full shake down on a trip from Albuquerque to Denver. I remember the thrill of feeling the power of the little 302, and how tight the car felt.

Can't wait to get there again.

It looks great! I've been wondering when your were going to post next.. The car looks amazing. Mine is getting there, it should be going into primer this hopefully tomarrow or wednesday i'll have to post some pics. BTW these pics were taken a couple weeks ago the car is a lot further along now I need to take some updated pics. The last two pics are the color schemes I was thinking about going with. I had also thought of adding a small pin stripe on either side of the two big stripes and a small one in between them. I am still debating on whether to paint the tailight panel argent silver, the silver of my stripe, or just run the stripes right through. The last thing i'm going to do is do the GT500 sill stripes on the bottom as a stencil of my silver stripe color.

Your car looks great and a very successful first drive, too! We all forget fuel pumps or some other thing in the excitement and exhaustion of the first drive. Watch my start up of the GT40 in my signature. I completely forgot to turn on the fuel pump on the first attempt. Congrats!
