Ordering the timing chain...How do I know if I have a one piece or two piece fuel pump eccentric?

The top gear of the timing chain Either it will be flat across the front or will come out towards the rad a bit....1/8in or so. I always have to look because I can't remember, or now. But I think it was a 2 piece is the one with the part sticking out. But double check that.

Look at the fuel pump piece on your motor now, does it spin freely or is it a solid piece?

No. Absolutely not necessary, and I can tell you from personal experience that it is a huge PITA. I got one with my stroker kit for cheap, but I wish I had never installed it.

Worth it to keep the mains from moving around. Won't keep the block from splitting though. But your not at the power level yet. Depends on the kit you get, whether it's easy to install or not. Some aren't notched for strokers and such.

Was referring to a stud girdle. I think your thinking of a main girdle which I already have. Not at that power level...ppffff j/k
