cam has .574 lift.

talked to rich at cpr and he said I should have a machine shop go over the heads anyway.

Had to clearance oil pump for the main girdle



Installed Ed Curtis valve springs that Ed recommended for the xe282hr. No mahining required



finished installing heads for the last time. used zero lash and half turn on rockers. Had to use comp guide plates to get good valve geometry

What do I do for this? water pump pulley does not line up with my crank pulley.

Oops. What's that water pump for? I don't think my Weiand high-flow has a snout that long.

its the water pump off my 5.0. different size balancer. Ill probably order a 1'' spacer

Spacer for what? You can't space the WP pulley backwards, and you don't want to space the other ones forward 1".

ya. was thinking the same. why is he giving us the finger ?

i'm with Tad here, the waterpump has to go. or get a different WP pulley that reaches in deeper. That is if pulley and alkternator line up. my WP isn't that long either

Damn well, Ill have to do some more research then. Thanks for the help. Sucks because that a new water pump. a shorter one will give me a little more clearance though.
