Default 69 trunk lid

Does anyone know of a company that makes a trunk deck lid for a 1969 coupe. all i can find is one for the fastbacks.

I believe this has the integrated spoiler, but this is the only one I was able to find using a quick Google search... interesting that the trunk lid is not so common...

Hope this helps,

That's because only the fastback got them originally. However, the 69-70 Cougar Eliminator had a similar spoiler, and the 70 version is reproduced:

You'll have to get a used one, if you want stock steel. Have you called Glazier Nolan? They have used stuff, too.

I contacted the owner of Unlimited Products (up22.com) and asked if they made fiberglass trunk lids for 69 coupes. He said no, but then told me if I sent him an original metal one he would use it to make the mold for a fiberglass one. He said he would then send me back the metal one, the fiberglass one, and all this free of charge! That was at least one year ago, probably longer, and I was too busy at the time to take him up on his offer. Maybe if you ask they will offer you the same? Just a thought.

you will probably have to get an original one off of another car, 69 parts aren't plentiful like the 65/66 and 67/68, especially for the coupes.

Check craig's list or your local mustang guys. Used 69 coupe deck lids are a dime a dozen.
