Is a 69-70 shaker hoodscoop compatible with my 67 fastback? I want a hoodscoop and want to convert my hood to have a working shaker.

 

It's pretty safe to say that the 67-68 hoods were different from the 69-70. Have you thought about going the fiberglas route?

 

You would need to do some cutting, cuz the hoods are totally different lengths. The 69 hood with the cut out already won't fit on your car. Beyond that, I'm not sure.

 

There was a guy at one of the local cruises last week that brought two Mustangs... a 68 fastback, and a 67 convertible. Figures I didn't have my camera, but both cars had shaker hoodscoops installed on them. Looked really good!

I'll make sure I have my camera armed and ready if I see them again!
