I am painting a 66 ford mustang coupe. I am going to soda blast on a rotisserie sprayer. Is there any reason that I have to go back original color? Does it raise the value? When re-caulking the taillights and various bolts should I make it neat and clean or like it came out of the factory? Thank you for all your input. This is my first project

If its a K code or a Shelby then sure go original. If its a 6 do what you want for color and make it as nice as you like. There was no shortage of regular V8 cars in 66, so they arent exactly super rare, so unless its something incredibly special do the color you like.
