289 a code a/c equipped?

Default 289 a code a/c equipped?

Yes i have a a/c unit on my straight six and iam converting it to a v8 which is a 289 a code iam just wondering if it can be placed on the 289......oh yea and also what size flywheel does the 289 have? thanks

You'll have to change the AC compressor brackets and hoses, and probably the clutch. The 68-up 289/302 had the 164T wheel. If you are using the earlier 65-67 289 bell, etc, they used a 157T. The clutch remained the same.
