302 for 1965

Lightbulb 302 for 1965

i have a 1965 and i just bought a 1984 for the motor and tran its a 5 speed.
what kind of motor mounts do i need? will the tranny fit into the 65? leakage cable as well and can i use the ac to? thanks , robert

Regular 289/302 mounts will work. The T5 will fit, you will need to trim the opening on the shifter hole in the floor because the shifter will hit. You will also need to buy the conversion transmission crossmember. Then you will need a C4 automatic driveshaft or use the T5 driveshaft. The driveshaft might have to be shortened an inch or so to make it fit good.
