Headers vs. Manifolds

Summit lists the JBA Tri-Y in stainless at $579.95. Unless you are planning to impress people at cruise night with the grooviness of your exhaust, ceramic coating stainless pipes is a waste of money, IMHO.

Will the uncoated stainless keep a decent look though? and what about the ceramic helping with the heat?
I found Doug's Tri-y's for about $575 with METALLIC CERAMIC COATING and shipping. Only $400 without Ceramic.
Any more suggestions??
Thanks again,

As to your question about the Silver or Titanium JBAs, that's just the color of the coating. Either will perform equally as well as the other.
Ceramic coating, if you can get it for a reasonable price (which the cost to have on the Doug's seem like to me) would be the way to go. Keeping it cool under the hood is a good thing.
As to which ones are a good deal, that I can't really help you with, though JBA does seem to have a good reputation for fit and finish, though I haven't head much (good or bad) about Doug's.

No, the K codes had special high-flow manifolds. 2V and 4V had really lame straight manifolds, and there was no "option" to change them. Ford did sell the K code manifolds over the counter as an upgrade, but you or the dealer had to put them on.
