I prefer the smaller wheel and larger sidewall look on the older classics. We went with the 16" 10 spoke Shelby's and glad we did. Tire selection for 14" and 15" wheels is quite limited. Stepping up to 16s opens the door for a much wider selection of great quality tires.

I'm sure its nothing however the Shelby 16" wheels are 1 piece aluminum wheels and the 17" plus are 2 piece wheels. I'm sure it doesn't mean anything however when I first read that it set something in my head and I keep thinking of front and rear sections glued together.

I'm looking forward to seeing pics of this when finished! I really am liking that red a lot!
