Default intake and carb help

You can just bolt on the new intake and carb. But your not going to get the max horsepower until you replace the 2bbl heads with a good set of 4bbl heads. I've still got 2bbl heads on mine and it runs fine, but I could get alot more horses by swapping out the heads. Hope this helps!

4bbl heads for a 289???? Keepyour heads then try a different cam. The hipo heads were the same as the rest except for screw in studs. If money is no object then get some aftermarket heads too but the cam is necessary to replace just dont go overboard.</P>
