Default Replacement '73 shock towers????

I'm in the middle of my '73 Mach 1 restoration. I've found and purchased both drivers/passengers side front and back fender aprons. I can not find anyone who makes replacement shock towers for the '73. I can find '64-70.

Does anyone know of any available replacement shock towers for the '73 models?
Do you think the '70 shock towers would be able to used with some modifying?

Please help, I can't be the first to need replacement shock towers.

Thanks in advance.

No one make the 71-73 towers at this time. You'll have to get used ones. Don't even think about using the earlier ones. Way too different. Try Glazier Nolan, they may have a few.

Call Don at West Coast Classic Cougar inc. 503-463-1130 Salem OR., he has a bunch of 71-73 cougars, the shock towers are pretty much the same. He is also willing to part with Cleveland engines quite cheap, provided you stop in and pull it.

I welded the cracks and patched the rust on my 71, unless you cut it off another car you will have to do the same. The alternative is to change the front suspension.

Yep thats what I concluded. I think I'll just try and repair my original shock towers, but I have my eye on these full front kits:

Has anyone ever installed or used one of these Rod & Custom front ends? If so, please post I'd like to ask you some questions....

Thanks,
Ryan
