I'm working on my 1966 mustang doors putting it back together. When I shut the door there is some play. If you pull the door handle its dead solid. But if you push on it...there is some movement. I have the rear rubber stop on but not the seal. But on my friends '67 his bare door shuts and has no play at all. Could the door latch be worn? Thanks

 

Need to get a seal in there to be sure. It is most likely the seal but those latches have 2 clicks on them. You may only be on the first click. If that makes sense.
