Default 67 Fender on a 68?

Other than the emblem and the turn signal holes, is the any difference in the 67 to 68 fenders?

I have a 68 and need a new passengers side fender. Someone local is selling one for a 67.

Thanks!

Well, you'll have a problem with the marker hole, but they are otherwise the same. The proper 68 marker hole has a lip to keep the edges of the hole from distorting.

I'm going to be patching the marker holes anyway, so otherwise, it should work?

I take it you don't have Motor Vehicle Inspection in your state? Because here, that would be illegal.

We do, but how would they know that a 68 coupe is supposed to have side markers?

All 68 cars were federally mandated to have maker lights on the front fender and reflecters on the quarters. I don't know if they will notice or not.

I would keep the marker lights.

I agree though, the inspection place probably won't even notice.
