sorry to hear about your string of bad luck on the car. Glad you got it sorted out though. Hope you enjoy the car and post up a pic if you have one. I've been trying to talk my wife into us getting another old mustang so I can fix it up for her. Haven't got her sold on the idea yet but plan to keep dropping hints and hopefully it will happen.
Well the only good thing, is I really learned alot from this journey. I am not much of an engine guy or car dude, but it was fun and frustrating at the same time. It sounds bad, okay really bad, but its running so its not that bad.
As for your wife, Just get up and get it for her. Thats what I did. The look on her face is worth a million.
Does anybody know where i can get the parts to run this setup? I am still having problems with the engine running lean with the pcv. Fuel pressure is at 7-8psi and I cant find a leak.

That's the stock PCV setup, available from Glazier Nolan, NPD, MU, etc. Except for the hot idle compensator, which is hard to find. However, the HIC was replaced in 1968 by the Distributor Vacuum Control Valve, which was superior.
Does anyone have picture of their PCV setups. I dont go to shows so I havent got the slightest clue. Thanks
Well, the diagram you posted is pretty good. Of course, you don't need the hot idle compensator, and the typical PCV hose comes with a 90° bend at both ends, eliminating the need for the 90° metal adapter.

Ok, I am waiting for a new hose and pcv. I got to ask maybe you can answer this. My valve covers have 4 holes. I used on breather and oil fill cap on one side, and the pcv and another fill cap on the other. From that picture that I previously posted is that oil cap a breather or not? Should I even be using it?

Factory covers never came with 2 holes in them. Oil filler on left-front, PCV on right rear.
