Parking lights on question
When I turn my parking lights on, the first click of the headlight switch is this suppose to make my turn signals no longer function? When I turn them on it makes my right turn signal dash light stay on and the right turn signal no longer functions correctly. The left stays off and still functions.
So which is the way its suppose to be and which do I need to fix?

Sounds like a bad ground at the lamp. You should also check to see if maybe the bulb is installed improperly.
The 64-67 front parking lights are only on in the park position on the switch. When the headlights come on, they go off.
Regardless, the turn signals should always work.

+1.
You very well may just have a bad bulb. Or the wrong one.
First thing is to make sure you have the right bulb in there and that it's good. Does the right side light up at all? Is this a new problem?
Either swap the bulbs and see if the problem switches sides, or go buy 1157 bulbs and put a new one on the right side.
Here's the list for what bulbs go where.
