Default Front drivers side wheel sticks out more than passenger side

On my 67 coupe, the front drivers side wheel seems to stick out more than the passenger side. I thought it might be the wheels so I swapped them and the drivers side still sticks out a bit more than the passenger side. I just changed out the front suspension with all new parts and theres no change. Everything is new except for the for the spindles and drum brakes which i'm planning on changing out for disks.

Does anyone know why this would be the case or what would cause the drivers side to stick out further than the passenger side? The wheels I have are 17x8 with a 4.5 inch backspacing.

Its not a huge difference between the drivers and passenger side, but I still want to correct it.

First you need to figure out what is causing the wheels to stick out different. Could be in the suspension components, could be in the wheels, could be in the frame, or it could be in the front fenders. I would suggest getting a tape measure and start measuring. I would start by measuring from the frame rail to the inside of the drum (or disc), make sure the steering is straight forward and not to the left or right. measure the backspacing on the wheels just to eliminate that. Once you figure out what is causing the problem then you can worry about fixing it.

and look to see if there are any shims anywhere in the control arms

The only thing I can think is that maybe one of your shock towers is collapsed inward making the upper control arm pull the wheel in on one side more than the other. Other options could be a tweaked frame rail, flared out fender, flared in fender, or just anything else that would put it out of symmetry

No surprise.

This would be a huge mistake. Factory 67 discs use the same spindles as drum brakes.

Sure. The shock towers in these move over time. Measure diagonally from the dead center of the cowl to the top of the shock tower, you'll find they aren't the same.

Then buy an export brace (not the cheap one, the expensive one) and a Monte Carlo bar, because you need them anyway because of the fat tires you're using. Since your car is distorted, you'll need to jack under front frame extension just below the front edge of the seats, one side at a time, with the shock tower caps removed and the export brace attached loosely to the cowl. You should also have all of the top-edge fender bolts loose, except the one at the cowl and the front of each side.
