I am putting a 351 in it.
Right now, there is very little collector value in a t code Mustang. However, if the car is likely to still be around in 25-30 years and unmolested '68's of any stripe are rare, then it might be a good idea to have the 200 available.

I don't think this is true anymore. If that was I would see several 6 cyl mustangs at car shows I go to. There has only been 1 situation when I was not the only 6cyl mustang and I have been to about 10 in the past 2 years.

Might want to keep the engine just because nobody will want to give you anthing for it. If you could get $200 I would take it but I find that unlikely.

I almost sold mine for $300. I've heard you can get at least $500 for a stock rebuilt one.

$300 for a 200 I6 is really good money!

They were pretty much getting the engine for free. The parts on it cost $300 alone(DSII dizzy setup, 2bbl conversion).
