need help with cam and intake carb setup

Default need help with cam and intake carb setup

i need some help got a 69, 302 and im putting a gt40 heads and see if you guys can help with a cam and intake carb set up
it already has hooker header and flowmaster dual exausht 2.5" and stock rear end
please what would you guys put in as cam and intake and carb set up

i want to go up 350 hp no more may be a little more

Don't know any part numbers off hand, but look for a cam with .450" or more valve lift (up to .500" depending the valve springs and piston clearance) and 224-232 deg duration (at .050" NOT advertised).

600-650 cfm would work well with a low single plane or medium height dual plane; for the street.

Just remember to keep all the parts you're using operating in the same power range. Power goals are good, but where you want the power is more important.

I would go xe258 or xe264. Airgap intake and a nice 600 cfm carb. the 264 will give you a lil more power up top and the 258 a lil more bottom end torque.

carb wise if you are not familiar with tuning a carb the edelbrock are idiot proof, pretty much just bolt and go.

My preference would be a prosystems carb but then your talking 600$ or so.

top it all off with some better gears.
