One more question. I am going to swap out my front shocks first while the car is on the ground. From what I gather, there is no danger in just unbolting the shocks while the car is on the ground.

While I had the shocks out, I also wanted to replace my Upper Shock Tower Caps. Can I remove the three nuts holding them down and just pull them out while the car is on the ground? Will the bolts fall from underneath?

Sorry about the amateur hour questions....Thanks!

how can you change front shocks with the car on the ground? can you get behind the wheel/tire to get to the 2 nuts?

It was my understanding from the previous posts that those 2 nuts can be accessed while the car i on the ground by turning the wheel. I was wondering if removing the upper shock tower caps would also be safe to remove while the car was on the ground.
