New Door Skin
I think the bondo that i put on will be good for a while . But if it falls out it falls out. im not to concerned about it.
I replaced the tabs the the skin are welded to at the opening where the window come out and now i need to fold the edges over.. Is there any specific way of doing this or can i just fold them over?
Im thinking its just fold it over with a hammer.

They do make special pliers with wide lips to bend over the edge. I think Eastwood used to sell them for 75 dollars.
Make sure you drill plug weld holes first in the skins lip
Start by lining up an edge of the skin to the top of the door frame at the front and back so it is lined up. I used small vise grips with cardboard against the skin to hold it in place. Work the lip slowly down over the edge. Do not try to bend to much too fast.
I used a leather shot bag (harbor freight) to back up the skin and hammered it slowly down. Do not use a dolly or anything hard against the door skin because it will dent it.

OK that what i did basicly but i dont have a shot bag. i Found a hard peice of rubber and just use a rubber mallet and hit the piece of rubber and it bent it over and it looks pretty good.. I didnt put the plug welds in before. Woops. i drilled after and just watched and waiting for the drill to brake through... The Welds are good just need to get a smaller tip to keep the temp down. Thanks

What degree of difficulty do you rate the reskining of a door? 1=low 10=high
I rated mine as a 5 and took about 5 hours (excluding wing window install, paint and rehanging of door)

The Door skin its self took me about a hour and a half. it wasn't to hard. Just have to be careful. Advice When removing the old skin just grind down to the point of flat metal. Dont grind down to where the skin and door separate. I Grinded down because i read some where " Grind until you see it separate. I ground down a lot and now when i was folding the skins flaps in some parts the flap didn't reach the door so ill have to epoxy it. I say a 4-5 for difficulty
