torque specs

Default torque specs

hey guys im having some trouble finding the torque specs for the rear end of my 69 mustang. i need the following...

U-bolts that tie down the diff. to the leaf springs
small u-bolts on the drive shaft
leaf spring bolt.
leaf spring shackle bolts
and the rear shocks.

i need to know what to torque them to. any info would be much appreciated.

These came from a 1968 FSM, I can't imagine the '69 being any different.

All measurements are ft*lbf

Since the parts used on the 68 and 69 were the same, I don't see how they could be different specs.

Whenever in doubt just look it up online. You can find generic torque spec guides for the size/thread pitch of everything. It's the same. Just makes sure you use the spec of the SHAFT size and NOT the socket size.
