quick flywheel question

Default quick flywheel question

when installing a flywheel on an externally balenced engine does the weight on the flywheel need to be in the same direction as the weight on the harmonic balencer?

I never noticed because they only go on one way.

but the flywheel can spin and be mounted any way on the 6 flywheel bolts. right?

No it just looks like that. If you put the flywheel on the crank end, there will be only one way for all of the holes to line up.
