Default engine bolt question

This is probably the dumbest question ever asked so...

I bought my engine stand and finally unwrapped my motor. What bolts (size & length) do I need to mount this motor to the stand? Are they the same bolts I will be using to mount the bellhousing or should I buy different bolts for it while its in the engine stand? Is this a Home Depot bolt pick up or my local race shop?

Its a ford small block (347 stroker)

7/16" x 14 threads per inch x 3" is what my stand uses. Bolt length my differ, measure for proper length. Get a couple flat washers.

SAE 7/16-14 for 302/351W
Mod motors are 10 mm if I am not mistaken.

Length would depend on the the thickness of material use on "your" engine stand + the original length.

Do yourself a favor and make sure the bolts and washers are grade 8----dont save two bucks and end up with your motor on the floor.

I'd go where Almost Stock did--a good local hardware store. TSC Lowes HD all seem to carry the China hardware which I've seen snap in 4wd applications--IE I dont trust their grade rating.

ditto on grade 8... I learned the hard way in high school... putting a new 400 in my 77 f-150 using an old Ford 2000 Industrial bucket loader as a lift... Raised the engine to clear the front grill and the bolts in the intake snapped (grade 5). Luckily I just crushed the oil pan and pickup. Felt like an @$$ though.
