Default Cylinder Head Leak!!

Hey guys,

Sorted out the clutch issue...took it out for a drive and just as i was reversing into my garage, the power steering hose leaked and 5 secs later i heard a zzzzttttttt and i was like Oh DAMN! thats a coolant leak!!

Sure enough, the cylinder head was leaking ...ive attached pictures, its behind the power steering pump (Drivers side) just behind the coil!!! Im thinking I need to take the cylinder head off *groan*...although I was wondering if the leak is in the freeze plug (if it is at all a freeze plug)...

What do you guys reckon is the best way to fix this....

How is this related to a clutch issue?

Pop the old freeze plug out and install a new one. Put a little rtv silicone around the new one and tap it in with a big socket.

Yep, it's just a freeze plug leaking. Lucky for you it will be one easy to get to.

It almost looks like your block has a crack running in it above the plug
