Default Trap Door Question

Has any one ever used the plastic trap door with the speaker pods, if so did they fit good,an do they work well. I'm thinking about buying the one from C J Pony Parts. For my 65 FSTBK

I actually have the one from CJ Pony Parts installed in my 65 fastback. The fit was good, however you do have to cut the holes in the pods for the speakers. I suppose they do this so you can choose whatever speaker size you want. The only thing I would have liked to see them do was make the plastic a bit thicker. These things aren't made real heavy like the originals. However, mine seems to be working o.k. and it sure made it easy to install rear speakers.

Yep, I put 6x9 speakers in mine so that will work just fine.
