Default 66 gt350 clone lowering

Hey guys, I have lowered my fastback 1" on the front by changing out the springs. I lowered the back 3/4".

Right now I have 205/70/14 tires all the way around. How can I drop the front another 1/2"? Should I cut the springs? Not sure about the Shelby drop since I already have lower springs on the car. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I would not cut the springs. I think you would be better off doing the Shelby drop. Alot of people run lowering springs with the Shelby drop. I was going to do it to my car, but I have read that it may not be a good idea with Granada spindles. I do have lowering springs in the front.

In my opinion, I think it looks really good with just lowering springs on the front and stock height in the rear.

I don't see how the slight geometry problem of the Granada spindles would get any worse with the "drop". Go for it. The improvement is surprising. Ford was stupid to not do it to all 65-70 Mustangs. All they had to do was move the punch on the tool.

Thanks for the comments. I think I may do it in the future. I would also like to get roller perches for the springs. I'll do it at the same time whenever I get the perches.
