interesting find
It's been awhile guys!!! I dont hardly ever get on the forum anymore, but i was here many years ago, back when Glen was here. Anyway, I've always suspected that my 66 coupe was a original 66,000 mile car because of how clean it's always been underneath, the engine, etc. It's fully original down the solinoid, coil, etc. I pulled my carpet the other day to possibly replace it, and found the underneath almost immaculate! The driver side doesnt have a spot of rust on it, but the passenger front has alittle where water have been leaking slightly. The underneath of the car still looks new with hardly no dirt, grime, etc. I just wish there was any other way to verify this car has 66,000 miles. I know the car sat 11 years covered, before i bought it and i drove about 12,000 miles on it, and parked it for 3 years. Just letting you guys know that there are still basically rust free stangs out there... and i only paid $2,000 for mine!!! I'll take pics on the underside soon!

We paid $2,000 for it back in 2003 i believe. I bought it from my history teacher and he didnt know much about cars. He bought it from people who let the car sit 7 years and then he let it sit for like 4 years and then he decided to sell it. He originally wanted $3,000 for the car but he thought the rear axle was locked up so he lowered it to $1000. The only thing that was wrong was the passenger side front brakes locked up. Easy fix!
