Default T-Lock

Does anyone have a T-lock for there automatic transmissions? I'm thinking of getting one for my 73 coupe. Not sure if they even make it for that year.

Do you mean traction lock? If you do then it goes by the type of rear end you have, 8" or 9", they have them for both. I run and like my Auburn Locker, good street driving and track use. I don't here any unlocking noise going around a corner, unlike my "old" detroit locker.

No, it's a key'd replacement for the top of the automatic transmission shifter. It can be locked so the car cannot be shifted into reverse or drive. It's an anti-theft device.

I have one on my 66 Convertible. It's very nicely made and well worth the expense. It also installs in a couple of minutes, piece of cake.

It won't deter a really determined thief, but it's just an extra obstacle to overcome, and one which they probably won't notice ahead of time. If the thief hot wires the car and then can't shift it out of park, he probably will bail.
