Any special reason for the intake swap? the weiand you have and the summit are both idle -6k RPM? If it's height that's worring you is the summit any shorter? I use a 1/2" phenolic spacer as that's all i could fit.

I'm pretty sure roller blocks all top out around 5K rpm so those intakes will work better with that than a highrise designed for say 6800 RPM like my weiand stealth.
I wouldn't change carbs unless you're having issues, rejetting it may make a big differnce if you are having issues. If you were way over carbed like 750cfm I'd say yes or if you just want to try a different carb.

The intake I have is cracked in a couple areas where plugs are in the water crossovers. And they are leaking. I'm going to ask my grandfather if they can be welded.

My newest appearance mod, I love the look. My dad really likes the look as well.

Gauge pod, oil pressure gauge, and air/fuel gauge on their way.

Stripes look better at an angle. I like more gauges, I had a pair of SW GreenLine oil/water gauges restored to put in a console eventually like the GT350's. Just ordered a vacuum gauge and trans temp gauge for my AOD to keep an eye on it. Ordered yesterday and will be here today, way to go summit.

Yeah I don't trust the original oil pressure gauge, not accurate enough. Want to keep an eye on my air/fuel as well. I'm eventually going to replace all of my stock gauges.

the oil pressure gauge is cool, but the narrowband a/f gauge is just going to give you a pretty light show. You need a wideband to actually monitor your a/f ratio.

Yeah I'm not wasting $250+ on a gauge, I have better things for that money.

Soon I will be continuing to fix it up. I have decided to enter my car in the 7th annual Good Guys show in Nashville this upcoming May.

http://www.good-guys.com/events/even...eventid=12-607

Last year there was a major lack of mustangs when me and my dad went and walked around. Out of the 1000+ cars there I saw maybe 6 mustangs, whole lot of camaros though.

So far I have a good list of things to do: painting door jams, painting trunk lid, painting trunk, fixing the paint problems, getting it cut and buffed, finish interior, possibly redo the engine compartment, and undercoat the underside of the mustang.

And for my birthday I am hoping to go and try and get my new exhaust installed.
