Also in about a month the engine is coming back out for some different parts. Going to look into getting some fabricated valve covers as well.

Well got some new stuff on the way.

Ran into some problems with the car lately. So I got in an aftermarket fuse box and installed it. Most of my accessories are ran off of it now.

Also today I ordered a new distributor and valve covers. Finally won an edelbrock performer 289 intake for the 302 off of ebay.

Got my gauge pod setup as well and once my tax return shows up I will be getting my exhaust installed.

Yeah the slant is a little much on them, I wasn't expecting them to be that bad. But overall you can still see the gauges so I just deal with it. I feel like you could see them better if you were the passenger.

They're for short people who scoot the seat really far forward.

Yeah I have the seat all the way back, wish it could go back further. Being 6'4 doesn't help any though.

Aftermarket steering wheel helps me some as well, but I fit in there with the old massive wheel as well.

I made my own custom gauge pod out of bondo and balsa wood. I like it a lot! Everything is right angle, no parallax issues and blocks the view as little as possible

Balsa wood is pretty easy to work with as well. I probably would make one out of fiberglass if I had the skills.

Here is what I have coming this week.

I think I got a pretty good deal on the intake. I was bidding on another and let it go at $110.
