Default NO SPARK, not starting...

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum.

I have a 1967 Ford Mustang 302V8, and I just replaced the electrical harness. The guy I bought the car from had a small electronic ignition box that he rigged up inbetween the coil and the distributor. I removed that box but now I have three wires coming from my distributor that need to connect to the coil. I'm not sure which goes where but i'm not getting any spark. There is a wire coming from the ignition that I plugged into the positive(+) side of the coil, and the negative(-) side has a ground and the coil wire. There is a black wire, and white wire, and a clear wire coming from my distributor, where do I connect them?

Thanks!

I'm just a back yard nut case, but normally a dizzy has two wires. Is it possible you're running a duraspark distributor that's running three wires. It's sounds like the box your referring to might be the ignition module?

I believe you are right. It was an ignition module. I removed it and I'm trying to connect everything back the stock way but the three wires that went to the module might be a problem now that I need to go to the coil.

If going back "stock" you will need one of these, all else being = I would buy the single vac one, (the first one).

You can probably get a cheaper reman distributor at Auto Zone, Pep Boys, etc. for less.
