Default Valve cover bolts

I have developed a small leak in my valve cover gasket and while trying to remove the cover I discovered one of the bolts(is just spinning (its more a nut on a stud) I though of just taking my dremel to it and cutting a slot in the top to get a screw driver on to it (oddly enough its the only post with out a screw driver head on it)

Do they sell the studs at auto zone/orileys or do I need to order off of mustangs unlimited?

Can you fit some needlenose pliers or vicegrips onto the nut? If the treads are stripped sometimes you can pull and twist on the bolt and it will thread out.

If it really is a stud with a nut on it, you could double nut it. Then you should be able to back it out. Just find a random nut that is the same size threads.
