Steering Too Hard

As I said, the power steering box is the same ratio as the GT or mach1 or heavy-duty gearbox, 16:1. The only other gearbox was the 19:1 that came with the standard, no-frills, no options manual Mustang. So when your PS fails, two things happen: You get about 1/4 turn of play in the steering wheel, and exactly the same steering effort as a GT or mach1 Mustang.

2+2 is exactly right. What you need to do is remove the ram and hydraulic valve and install one of these. It made a world of difference in drive-ability and ease of steering. I just did this two weeks ago and I am very pleased.

Ok guys thanx i think thats what ill do ge the Power stering to manual steering adapter
Because right now its almost like steering a PS car when its off
