Default Manifold dressing

I wonder if the rust will come back on the manifolds unless I coat them with something?

I used Calyx manifold dressing on my exhaust manifold after they were media blasted. You can find it on eBay (check corvette central). You just brush it on and it coats the cast iron with a nice gray color. Then let it heat up while running the engine.
