I have a 79 Mustang with a 2.3 in it that I use for a dirt track race car. I have switched it from the power brakes to manual brakes, but I am having a problem with them. I removed the power brakes and got a manual brake system out of a Ford F-100(say in the mid 80's), hooked everything up and now I can't push the brake pedal down at all. I have bleed the brake many times and still have no pedal. Is this normal for manual brakes? Also I have emilinated the front brakes on the car too, as it seemed no matter what I tried to do with the brakes all I was getting was front brakes. All I would like to have is Rear brakes on the car. What is the cause of this problem, and how can I go about fixing the problem.
