Thanks! Lots of good info on the Opentracker site. I guess it's back to the drawing board, that's the thing with cars so many decisions to make.

 

Ok so the radiator has finally arrived and I am preparing to put it in. So here are the pics of the original radiator out of the car and the engine bay. Also on a side note can anyone chime in if that's a clutch fan in the picture?

 

Yes, although it looks like one of the cheaper centrifugal units. The nicer units have a bimetal coil on the front that reacts to temperature changes to 'switch' the fan on and off. They cost more but are worth the extra expense.

 

The kit I bought from CJ's was great had everything I needed minus a few parts which I bought at a local auto parts store.

So kit came with all clamps hoses and a 3 row radiator. I purchased separately the following:

Thermostat w/new gasket -160 degrees
New rubber hoses for the automatic cooling lines
16lbs radiator cap with pressure relief

I will post the pics of the finished install later. I still have them on the camera.

Hello All. My first time on this fourm but a life timmer on old mustangs as I own Palm Beach Mustangs and we just service/restore/sell just 65 to 73 and have done it for over 25 years for a living so iv seen a few. Well any way i just wanted to say that iv been getting All Alum. Rads from a guy on e-bay for like 169 and they are great! They fit great. They have 2 big cores and iv used apx 10 of them now and havent had a problem. But if stock is what your looking for the the 3 row is the way to go.
