Default clutch pedal assembly

I got a complete 4 speed toploader kit from a shop in WA, and everything is fine except the pedal assembly. I can not get the clutch pedal rod to go through the brake pedal assembly and out the other side to put the clip through the hole in the clutch pedals rod.

I hope you know what I mean. Am I doing something wrong? I push and push and it wont go through all the way, even though theres no more room for it on the other end, toward the clutch pedal. I need about 1 cm more to stick out to access that little hole for the clip.

Any ideas?

Call your supplier. You may have the wrong pedal. How long is the shaft on this pedal?

Well, you said it was all the way in on the LH side. Is it?

If the pedal shaft is all the way in, and does not stick out the other side, you either have the wrong pedal or the wrong pedal bracket. How about a nice photo?
