I'm going to paint my '66 mustang coupe this color and go with torque thrust II's what do you think??

Cool color... a 66' would look great in that color. I just think if your going for a wow affect or even something that not everyone n this mother has then i'd pick a different color. As for the red itself.... i like it. So if your happy with it, i don't think you could go wrong. Good luck

 

All I can see here at work is the g2 picture, and I think that color is a little too dark. It works better on body surfaces that don't have their lines defined by sharp creases.

would be a different story if the 2nd picture wasn't in the shade. check out the forums for the posts of last week. there was a paint question and it seemed quite close to what you want. there was a few photoshop images and stuff

 

If YOU like it do it. There are too many mustang purist who will try and talk you out of painting your car anything short of the original boring colors. (Trust me on this one)

Remember, unique colors turn heads and coups are a dime a dozen so go crazy!!!!!

 

When its time I'm going with very much the same color pon my 66 but adding white, maybe pearl white, lemans stripes to it.

 

I have a 98 Gran Prix that is that color, it does look nice in the sunlight, and yes if you like it do it. Dont let someone tell you it should be lime green or something factory.. Its yours do what you want with it and post lots of pics.
