Default 5 dead mice...

Well today I pulled off and opened the heater box (after ample use of pb buster). In the heater box on the fresh air side following all the way up into the cowel I had pulled out 5 dead mice and enough nesting material that it filled a 5 gallon shop vac. Now that the offending beasts are gone perhaps I can finally get the smell of rodent to disapear. Thank you all who helped with info to my previous posts about the mice and leaking heater core.

Thanks

there was nests in my cowl vents that we didn't know about and when we were welding the floors in it caught on fire, but no worries no damage.

If you didn't, check under the back seat. We had the biggest nest there. They were coming in through the heater box then running down under the console.....well that's what we thought based on the number of acorns we found under it. The stink was so bad in the car we had to toss the carpet.

Leave some Bounce dryer sheets inside the closed car. They don't like that "fresh-from-the-dryer" smell. The car kind of smells perfumey but, no mice. I also use those sonic repellers that you plug in the garage outlets, they seem to work too.
