Default Turn Signal Switch

So I decided to change my turn signal switch and I pulled the old one out, and now I'm having a little trouble feeding the new wires through the steering colum. I tried feeding it through with a hanger, but its very difficult. Is there any other way to ago about this or do i have to keep trying with the hanger?

Try a thinner and more flexible wire,,,, and patience.

I pulled one on a 64 Falcon a few days ago, it was easy enough to get through.

When I replaced mine I tied a string to the old one so when I pulled it through I would have something to guide it back through, rinse and repeat.
Also I was only able to do 2 wires at a time. Not much room to move in there.

If the old one is already completely out you can use fishing wire and a small weight to get it through.
