Default Would these kit be acceptable?

Would these kits be acceptable for use in a car that will be used to tool around town and back and forth to work?Including the 1" lowering 620 springs and kyb shocks it would still keep me around the $600 dollar mark.I will also be doing the Shelby drop.

I was also thinking about this kit for the steering.

Im not building a hot rod just a good solid daily driver for my son.As it sits now the suspension is COMPLETELY shot. All the bushing are cracked and pancaked as well as some metal to metal at the tie rod ends. Not safe at all!
As a disclaimer this is my first time doing the suspension in any car.
What do you guys think?

I put 620 coils on the front of my 67 and don't like them. The car rides like a buckboard. I would avise you to go with a softer spring. The kit your linked looked like it would do the job.

I don't find my 620's all that stiff really. Some of it is personal preference, but a lot depends on what you want the car to do. 620 is generally considered the limit for a small block car used on the street though. If it's just for a driver and handling isn't a major concern, then a 620 will probably be too stiff for you.

Both kits look like they will work well for you. If you are going with KYB's I would recommend the GR2's for street driving. The gas adjusts are a bit too stiff and the GR2's are much cheaper.
