this problem just started. when i turn the car on, i hear this ticking sound, not like a rod knocking, but like maybe an engine lifter or something...? any ideas? sounds get louder when i accelerate... oh, and all of a sudden, about two days ago, i started hearin this weird sound from what seems like under the car. sounds like metal ripping or tearing when i drive, sometimes it sounds really loud, sometimes barely audible, but now a common sound. Sounds real ugly though. possibly my U joint going out? anyone have an idea?
