Default Earliest 1966 Sprint?

I have a 66 sprint with all the options that they came with. I'm in the process of restoring it this summer. I bought it in May and the guy i got it from bought it off ebay form Minnasota. I found a posting on another site stating mine was one of the oldest if not the oldest. I know that these were not recorded that well. My production date is Jan 6 1966. I have seen sites saying that the earliest know is feb 2 1966. can anyone help.

Well, the only Sprint feature that wasn't a regular production option was the chrome air cleaner. Every other feature, the wire wheelcovers, Tiffany stripe/emblem delete, and console were available on any Mustang 64-66. The Sprint was a promotion marking the millionth Mustang, so some time around then. It was also a way to bump up six cylinder engine sales, which were sagging.
