Default found a 9 inch

I found a 9 inch in pittsburgh a couple weeks ago for $100 bucks the guy said it was from a 69 mustang so i think i got a really great deal. It was complete but it might need some drums on it but i havent torn it apart yet. I looked at it some more and found out it was a posi rear end. I was wondering if anyone knew or had an idea the gears that the wouldve used that year? I know its probably a lot i just wanted a general idea.

Could be anything. Count the turns of the pinion needed for one turn of the axle.

Oh, and Ford called it Traction-Lok, "Posi" is a GM trademark.

I will i just haven't took the cover off of it yet. I just put "posi" because thats what i am used to saying but I'll start saying Traction-lock. Thanks 2+2. Oh i just moved up to PA for school and was wondering if there are any reputable places around Pittsburgh for parts and drive shafts?

jkjk, haha!

$100 for a 9" seems pretty good, that's what 8" rear ends go for around here.

Ok so i measured the lug pattern today and it was 5.5 and i know that can't be right for a mustang rear.
